SLM Server by AspenTech is a centralized license management service for AspenTech applications. It hosts and distributes software entitlements to client machines, enabling reliable activation, checkout, return, and—when permitted—offline borrowing. Administrators use SLM Server to consolidate control of licenses, monitor usage through logs and reports, and enforce compliance across the enterprise, reducing the effort of managing licenses on individual workstations.
